Dr. Ralph Walton did the research for 60 Minutes on scientific peer reviewed research and funding.

He also did his own study on aspartame which had to be stopped when one person suffered conjunctival bleeding and the administrator of the hospital who took part in the study got a retinal detachment and lost his vision in that eye.
